Learn the Prāna Vinyāsa approach to using pulsation of breath and body to find energetic alignment for strength, flexibility, and proprioception skills. This class teaches us balanced action in the body through sensation from within rather than alignment-based on body placement from the space outside the body.
Vinyasa is a dynamic system of practicing asana by linking breath to continuous movement in sequence often built around sun salutations. An attentive ear and some knowledge of basic yoga postures are recommended to keep pace with the flow.
Level 1 classes introduce basic Yoga postures, breathing fundamentals and instruct how to work with the body in order to access subtleties of the mind. Yoga props and use will be introduced, as well as Sanskrit terms for postures, and breath-work.
