With the Hip Key Hang, we begin to reach a new height. We will progress this more advanced pose from the ground up to understand the safety, proper placement of the fabric, and correct engagements of the legs to gain more vertical height.
Aerial employs a suspended silk hammock as a prop to enhance both new and traditional, grounded yoga postures. With body weight supported by the hammock, this practice improves flexibility, joint health and strengthens muscles and bones by working with gravity.
Level 2-3 classes assume familiarity with Yoga postures, Sanskrit terminology, and overall theory. These classes are designed to enhance your physical practice and attention to detail by incorporating challenging sequences and variations that encourage you to play with your edge.
